This is new technology based diagnostic slides which can be used for diagnostic purposes such as blood test, urine test etc.
How it works:
On the slide micro circuit can be printed with multiple nano/bio sensors which can examine the blood, urine etc… On the single slide there will be multiple specimen collection points each point will examine different specimen and send the results to the microprocessor which can be attached at the end of the slide. So finally the microprocessor will collate all the results from each specimen collection point and send this report to the printer or mobile or system through wire or wireless mode. We can also attach the small display to this slide to see the results on the screen while examining the specimen by the sensors and microprocessor.

Below image is the first model of the IOT diagnostic slide with fixed microprocessor unit at the end of the slide. The microprocessor unit cannot be removed from the slide unit. This entire unit can be one time use.

Each specimen collection point is predefined or pre-programmed and connected with microprocessor. So it means each collection point can use for specific set of specimen.
For example specimen collection point (SCP) -1 can be used to calculate only haemoglobin percentage from the blood sample likewise SCP-2 can be used to get only WBC and RBC count etc. Finally all the results from all the SCP’s will be sent to the microprocessor and microprocessor is collate all the results and prepare a report and will be send to external devices like mobile, printer, computer or monitor etc. through wired or wireless communication.

This is second model of the slide i.e. the slide unit and microprocessor units are individual units we can attach or detach as whenever required. The major advantage of this model is we can re-use the microprocessor unit multiple times by attaching to the new slides.
For example if we want to use one time usage slides in that case we no need to buy the complete embedded slide which includes fixed microprocessor. If that slide can’t be reused then we need to throw the entire slide unit along with the microprocessor which is not all recommended because it will increase the e-waste as well as production cost while manufacturing more number of units.
